Adding to the eighties punk vibe whereas the album itself musically continued the crossover vibe already shown on the The Massacre and DeathBeforeDishonour. A lot of riffs found here have a lot more in common with S. None of the songs here sound overlong though the total length of the album might be a bit too much for some listeners.
Also the addition of more and good! Highlights, there are plenty on the album. With that very recognizable bass intro before plunging into uptempo crossover heaven. In however we have this Exploited song sounding remarkably like era Discharge. Great song as well! If you like crossover, just get this, now.
There's something about this particular album that could perhaps impress even those who hate the very existence of punk rock or thrash, and although the lyrical content or themes rooted deep within Wattie Buchan's mind and soul haven't changed one bit, this is a monster that you won't find any traces of on any of the band's previous albums.
The first thing that instantly comes to mind when playing the first song and title track is that there is no music to be heard, making way for some very well introduced songs.
There are snippets from such politically influenced films as 'A Clockwork Orange' Law for the Rich, Police TV and even genuine dialogues from Scottish news channels The title track, Systems fucked UP, They Lie , not to mention a humorous yet meaningful argument between two Scottish blokes on the verge of ripping each other's head off so it seems. He commented by taking a shot at Green Day a band on many occasions he has admitted to hating saying "Fuck coronavirus!
I have had 5 heart attacks a quad heart bypass and a heart pacemaker fitted. Cancel gigs for a virus? We ain't fucking Green Day piss - We are the real deal. No danger will we be cancelling our upcoming gigs. Punks Not Dead!

If there is more in the pipelines like this bring it on. Just don't try to howl along as you'll blow your voice. However I must admit that this is the best punk album since the 80's. The songs are longer, and have longer, more melodic solos. I believe that this is due to the new, more talented members in their ever changing line up/5(59).
