That was a huge downfall in this otherwise excellently performed album. Additionally, how is it that the two "Steppin' Out's" weren't seamed together for the CD reissue? Evelyn is known for her sexy, lower register and the ability to run out a single note like nobody's business. Despite the broken in half "Steppin' Out," it's 5 stars in MY book!

Signing the singer to a production deal and a contract with RCA, Life's first single with her was "Dancin' Dancin' Dancin'," but it was a later single, called "Shame," that gave her career-launching success.
